Braker’s Market is looking for a dependable, friendly, customer-focused team member to join our team for the fall and holiday season as a Seasonal Cashier.

This is an as-needed seasonal position and a great opportunity for someone looking for flexible hours and extra income during the busy fall and holiday season.

Pay

Starting Pay: $16.00 per hour

Schedule & Availability

This is an as-needed seasonal position.

Minimum availability required:

• At least 1 shift per week
• 1–2 weekends per month

Additional shifts may be available based on business needs, customer traffic, employee availability, vacations, illness, and unexpected staffing needs.

The more flexible your availability, the more opportunities there may be to pick up additional shifts.

No Guaranteed Hours

Hours will vary based on business needs, customer traffic, and employee availability. This is a seasonal, as-needed position with no guaranteed number of hours.

Minimum Age

Must be at least 16 years old.

What You’ll Do

• Operate the cash register and assist customers
• Provide friendly, helpful customer service
• Provide cashier coverage during busy periods
• Help cover vacations, time off, illness, and unexpected absences
• Assist with stocking and keeping the store organized
• Occasionally assist with dishwashing and other operational tasks
• Help with other store needs as assigned

Store Hours

Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Sunday: Closed

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to remain active throughout the shift
• Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and twisting
• Ability to safely perform cashiering, stocking, cleaning, and other store duties
