    Congressional Country Club is seeking a Seasonal Cook II to join our dynamic, resort-style culinary team. This role supports our restaurants and multiple outlets by preparing high-quality food for our membership while working collaboratively within a professional kitchen environment.

    What will be expected of you?

    • Inventory and prepare all items required for station setup
    • Prepare food items according to standardized recipes and menu specifications
    • Coordinate timing of orders with other kitchen stations
    • Requisition products needed for daily production and notify the Sous Chef of anticipated shortages
    • Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstations and equipment
    • Set up, maintain, and properly break down assigned prep or cook stations
    • Properly cover, label, date, and store reusable food products
    • Recommend maintenance or repair needs for equipment and prep areas
    • Close the kitchen following established closing checklists
    • Participate in kitchen meetings and contribute improvement ideas
    • Prepare menu items for member and guest service as needed
    • Follow all state and local health, sanitation, and food safety regulations
    • Adhere to safety procedures for operating and cleaning kitchen equipment
    • Demonstrate knowledge of required roles during emergencies
    • Assist with additional duties as assigned by the Sous Chef

    How we determine your qualifications

    • High School diploma or GED required
    • Completion of a two-year culinary program preferred
    • Minimum of two years of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking
