Seasonal Door Shop Worker

Summary: The employee performs a variety of duties including assemble doors, unload stock and inbound materials, and prep and load doors for shipment.

Role and Responsibilities

Assemble door components per customer specifications Perform regular inspections, routine maintenance, and cleaning of equipment Fabricating Doors and Windows. Fill customer orders in a timely & efficient manner Lift/Carry 65 lbs Frequently Lift 75-84 lbs Frequently Push/Pull 44lbs Frequently Experience with woodworking power tools Safely operate a forklift to assist in the handling of materials Sweep and clean work area Assist in counting inventory Assist in reducing operating costs and increasing productivity Establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers

Position Qualifications

Must have skills working with basic wood working and metal working tools. Must be able to follow written instructions so shipping papers can be easily followed and needed information can be filled. Able to work under minimal supervision, manage multiple tasks, and interact with others in a professional manner. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Knowledge of carpentry or construction experience is a plus
