About the Job

The hours of operation for the GOH Receiving Department are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Flexibility with the work schedule and the ability to work any shift during the hours of operation is required. Hours of operation and schedules are subject to change and may require early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, or late-night shifts. Schedule is determined based on business needs.

What You'll Do | Key Accountabilities

To perform multiple functions that include receiving and processing incoming merchandise.

• Assist with unloading trailers and audit merchandise
• Scan merchandise price tickets from RF unit
• Apply bar code generated tags to each piece of merchandise
• Prepares and process the movement of merchandise throughout the distribution
• Apply tags or other information to merchandise
• Place merchandise or items on trollies to be sorted
• Assist with inventory controls by counting all merchandise
• Maintain quality checks on tags and printer equipment
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat
• Organize warehouse and always work area for orderliness
• Operate the use of warehouse equipment and machinery, including conveyor systems, sorter systems, RF guns, metal hooks, plastic bags, plastic packaging, cardboard boxes, tape dispensers, and other materials necessary to the production and packaging of our merchandise
• Performs other related duties assigned by management

Skills & Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in receiving merchandise in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work independently, be self-motivated, flexible and able to follow instructions
• Must be able to interact with and maintain a positive work environment with all levels of personnel
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and demonstrate a sense of urgency to meet customer time commitments
• Good communication, time management and mathematical skills
• Ability to take on new tasks and be able to work in all areas of production

• Reports to GOH Receiving Management

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands

• Continuously standing, walking, sitting, reaching and working overhead, climbing, balancing, stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, stretching, crouching, and crawling
• Frequent use of hands and fingers for grasping, reaching, pulling, and pushing
• Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate equipment
• Ability to work at least 40+ hours per week from the Company's Houston, Texas facility with flexibility based on business needs
• Regular and on-time attendance
• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds or more
