GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Tired of the same boring view from your office window? Looking to make an income and gain valuable skills while working in some of the prettiest locations in the state? The few who have the privilege of working at the State Park's Central Construction Office have the best job in the state of Wyoming! If you are college-aged or older and have an interest in learning the trades, this may be the perfect position for you. We are fortunate enough to work all summer long at any number of our 39 beautiful State Parks or Historic Sites. The Central Construction Office is now looking for individuals who have the desire to travel the state and be part of our dynamic team, working hard to build and preserve our parks! The typical employment season is from mid-May through mid-September. However, the successful candidates may begin work earlier and/or extend longer into the fall. The actual length of employment depends on the work schedule and the weather.

Assist with the construction/renovation of State Parks and Historic Sites facilities across the state of Wyoming
Safely operate vehicles and machinery
Safely operate power and hand tools, including saws, drills, presses, chainsaws, etc.
Follow proper safety procedures/guidelines
Follow the instructions given by the senior staff
Qualifications
PREFERENCES/AGENCY REQUIREMENTS:
Preference may be given to applicants with at least one year of professional work experience in basic construction and building.
Must be 18 or older.
Must maintain a valid drivers license.

These are temporary, seasonal positions, 40 hours per week, 10 hours per day, typically Monday through Thursday.
