You are the primary point of contact for inbound and outbound prospects, driving engagement through phone, SMS, email, and virtual meetings. Your role combines high-level consultative sales with technical precision. You will diagnose energy needs, optimize system designs, and navigate complex objections to secure contracts within aggressive timelines. You will act as the bridge between customer expectations and Tesla's cross-functional teams (Design, Engineering, Permitting, Installation), ensuring a frictionless hand-off and a superior customer experience.
Manage the full sales lifecycle from initial qualification to contract execution, drive high-volume outreach and nurture leads to achieve conversion targets
Perform system sizing and layout optimization, create compelling visual proposals (3-D renders, diagrams) that clearly illustrate energy flows, savings, and system architecture
Translate complex technical concepts into relatable value propositions, use clear analogies and visual aids to build trust and articulate long-term ROI
Collaborate seamlessly with Design, Engineering, Permitting, and Installation teams to resolve technical constraints and ensure accurate project hand-offs
Navigate customer concerns with confidence, guiding them toward informed decisions to drive contract execution within defined service windows
Provide actionable feedback on sales scripts, outreach strategies, and design tools to enhance team performance and product offerings
Consistently meet or exceed monthly targets regarding pipeline activity, conversion rates, and throughput
1+ years of full sales lifecycle or project management experience in a quota-driven environment (B2C preferred), proven track record of managing high-volume pipelines and meeting aggressive targets
Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Home Improvement Salesperson license through the California Contractors State Licensing Board (CSLB)
Strong understanding of residential solar, storage, and energy management ecosystems, ability to quickly master Tesla's product suite and technical specifications
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical data to non-technical audiences
High proficiency with CRM systems, MS Office, and digital design tools
Strong relationship management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and execute efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Prior experience in residential solar/energy design or technical consulting
