The Spirit of the Position:

The Event Staff is responsible for greeting customers by name, be responsive and timely in correspondence and problem resolution, and consistently provide friendly and helpful service to promote good customer relations. Assist customers with parking, direct traffic, handle payments, set up for events, and communicate equipment issues, while working independently or with minimal supervision.

What does a day in the life of a LAZ Event Staff look like?

• Greet by/use name, be responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, and display a caring attitude, develop a rapport with the customer base.
• Assist customers in lobbies, lanes, and in the parking office; help direct traffic.
• Lifting equipment and setting up for events both inside and outside event spaces.
• Flag customers into parking facilities and surfaces lots creating a simple and effective entrance and exit for customers.
• Promote good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to help at all times.
• Accept monthly and debit payments and process credit cards.
• Assist with cashiering functions as needed.
• Communicate any malfunctioning parking equipment to ensure appropriate access to management.
• Other related duties as assigned.

What would we like you to bring to the team?

• Strong customer service experience.
• Cash handling experience is required.
• Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Demands:

• Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Compensation: This position is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law.
