Seasonal Front-of-House Team Member

About the Role


HoneyBaked Ham in Sherman Oaks is looking for friendly, energetic Seasonal Front-of-House Team Members to join us during our busiest and most exciting time of year!


You’ll help guests select, purchase and pick up the holiday meals that bring families together. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people, works well under pressure and wants to be part of a supportive, hardworking team.


Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests warmly, professionally and efficiently
• Process orders and payments accurately using the POS system
• Retrieve, verify and prepare holiday preorders for pickup
• Confirm order details before products are handed to guests
• Answer questions about products, promotions and holiday orders
• Help manage guest lines and maintain an organized pickup process
• Restock products, packaging materials and retail displays
• Maintain a clean, organized and welcoming front-of-house environment
• Follow food-safety, sanitation and cash-handling procedures
• Support the team during high-volume holiday rushes with a positive attitude

Requirements

• Friendly, professional and comfortable interacting with guests
• Reliable, punctual and committed to scheduled shifts
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Able to remain calm and accurate in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable standing for extended periods
• Able to safely lift and move up to 30 pounds
• Previous customer-service, retail, restaurant or POS experience is preferred but not required
• Flexible availability during the peak weeks leading up to Thanksgiving and Christmas, including early mornings, evenings and weekends
• Must obtain a valid California Food Handler Card after hire; training and instructions will be provided
