Pacific Coast Producers, one of the nation's top food production companies in the U.S., is seeking to fill General Labor positions with qualified, capable individuals for our Lodi, CA Production Facility. Our Lodi facility maintains production lines for canning apricots, peaches, and apple products.

As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to sorting, washing, packing, and labeling produce. The job requires standing for long periods, working in fast-paced environment, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay Rate: $19.46 per hour. Weekend and overtime hours required when needed. Morning, day and swing shifts available.

These positions are part of a seniority based collective bargaining (CBA) unit and required to work on various shifts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide general labor services as instructed by supervisor or management team.
  • Grades, sorts, or classifies fruit by size, weight, color, or condition.
  • Cleaning and maintaining work areas.
  • Labeling and preparing products for shipment.
  • Follow all plant safety policies and procedures to include Good Manufacturing Policies (GMP's).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to safely walk, climb stairs, walk on uneven surfaces to arrive at work location.
  • Ability to communicate with supervisor/management and understand safety notices and signs
  • Must be able to work any of the three shifts, overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Available to work during the months of July through end of September.
  • Reliable and able to maintain excellent attendance.
