Description

Monarch Investment and Management Group is looking for a Seasonal Groundskeeper, up to 30hrs/wk, to join our team at the Earl Apartments in Gainesville. This position will run until September and pays up to $17.00/hrs.

Monarch Investment & Management Group has been actively involved in commercial real estate investment since 1992. We currently manage over 79,000 apartment units in 25 states, making us the 8th largest multifamily owner in the country per NMHC (2024). In addition, Monarch's ownership also operates Monarch Ski Area near Salida, CO.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for daily trash removal from all public exterior areas
  • Performs trimming, edging, landscaping, and exterior painting
  • Responsible for care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company related to grounds work.
  • Responsible for light/basic tree and bush trimming
  • Assists maintenance staff as requested, including but not limited to, preventative maintenance to buildings, moving appliances, inspections or assisting in getting apartments ready for new tenants.

Requirements:

Valid Driver's License

General knowledge of groundskeeping/landscaping

Safely operate machine equipment

Must be able to push or lift weight of up to 50 pounds. Proper lifting techniques required.
