Holiday Lighting Installer

• Compensation: $18.00–$25.00 per hour, based on previous installation experience and comfort level working at heights, plus performance-based end-of-season bonuses upon successful completion of installation and takedown targets.

• Position Type: Seasonal / Part-Time

• Hiring/Training Timeline: Late September hiring with training in October. Training will cover customer service, safety practices, wiring lights, hanging roofline lights, and landscape lighting in trees and bushes.

• Season Timeline: October/November setup through early January takedown (peak hours concentrated in November and the first week of December, followed by a second peak for removal in early January).

Position Overview
We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented seasonal crew members to join our team for the upcoming holiday lighting season. You will be responsible for safely installing, maintaining, and later removing custom holiday lighting displays on residential and commercial properties throughout Cobb and Cherokee County (Marietta, Woodstock, Smyrna, Kennesaw, Acworth, etc).


Key Responsibilities

• Safely install commercial-grade C9 holiday lights, mini lights, wreaths, and ground fixtures on residential and commercial buildings.
  
  
• Work comfortably on extension ladders and roofs while adhering strictly to company safety protocols.
  
  
• Test electrical circuits, secure property connections properly, and troubleshoot minor lighting issues in the field.
  
  
• Deliver exceptional customer service and communicate professionally with homeowners and business managers on-site.
  
  
• Efficiently dismantle, sort, and pack up lighting displays during the January takedown window.
  
  

Requirements

• Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and on sloped roofs in varying outdoor weather conditions.
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to clean, high-quality installation standards.
  
  
• Reliable transportation to our local operations hub.
  
  
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are preferred.
  
  
• Previous experience in construction, landscaping, roofing, or general outdoor labor is a strong plus, but hands-on training is provided.
  
  

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (ladders, heavy spools of wire, and decor).
  
  
• Standing, bending, climbing, and working outdoors for extended periods during colder weather months.
