Seneca Foods of Montgomery, MN, a food production and distribution center located approximately 35 miles southwest of the Twin Cities metro, is currently seeking a Seasonal Human Resource Assistant to join its team.

The seasonal position runs from March through December and offers a flexible work schedule of 32-40 hours per week. It is an ideal opportunity for someone seeking part-time work while gaining hands-on human resources experience.

Position Summary

Assists the Human Resource Manager with administrative duties including (but not limited to) staffing, training documents and logs; internal and external correspondence; FMLA administration and recordkeeping; and filing / documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assists with Seasonal Staffing support including but not limited to data entry, filing, orientations, reporting, training and employee investigations
• Provides back-up support for the Human Resource Manager
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Bi-lingual Spanish/English skills preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Human resources or related education or experience preferred

Starting wage range based on skills, abilities and experience from $18.54 per hour.
