Seasonal Human Resources Coordinator
Location: Mebane, NC - On Site
Job Purpose
The Seasonal HR Coordinator shapes the first impression of our organization for job seekers. This person greets and facilitates the flow of onsite applicants in the hiring center and assists the recruiting team with contacting applicants through phone and email. Behind the scenes, this role also ensures that onboarding and new hire information is added into appropriate systems in a timely and correct manner.
We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a strong focus on customer service and a desire to work for a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization. In addition to exceptional leadership and analytical skills, you must have a "roll-up your sleeves" attitude.
Major Accountabilities / Essential Duties
- Responsible for ensuring that anyone who enters the hiring center (applicants, vendors, employees) feels welcome and respected through positive interactions and managing wait times.
- Utilizes several sources of information (applicant tracking system, excel, online, etc.) to perform a variety of administrative tasks in support of hiring quality candidates in a timely manner.
- Create employee badges, including taking badge pictures, assigning proximity cards, and testing badges for functionality.
- Assist recruiting team with scanning, sorting, and screening applicants within our Applicant Tracking system (ATS) based on skill sets of the applicant and needs of our organization.
- Assist applicants who are experiencing trouble with our processes and/or not skilled with technology.
- Conducts tours of Fulfillment Center for applicants
- Conduct onboarding of new hires to include verifying accuracy of information as it moves from the ATS to the HR System.
- Assist with other various tasks as needed to support the HR Department and/or other departments.
Requirements/Qualifications
- High School degree or equivalent required.
- One (1) year of experience in an office setting utilizing Microsoft Excel
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
- Experience with application tracking systems or human resource information systems preferred.
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to be concise, informative, and friendly.
- Ability to professionally interact with all levels of management and employees.
- Successfully demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work well under deadline pressure.
- Must have the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Must have the ability to handle confidential matters using sound judgement and discretion.
- An ability to adapt and be able to deal with ambiguity and rapid change.
- Excellent analytical and problem- solving skills, along with attention to detail.
