Job ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCounting and recording of different species lifted.Help various fish agencies load fish into transfer trucks.Maintain and record proper conditions for ideal passage.Help with any public tours.Maintain cleanliness of counting room and equipment.Operate equipment necessary to lift and transport fish upstream.Assist with installation and operation of upstream eel ladders.Assist with operation of video equipment related to fish passage.Required Skills KnowledgeExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Average computer skills Windows Word Excel Outlook.Ability to solve practical problems and provide applicable solutions.Demonstrate a strong work ethic.Experience0-2 years of related experience.Mechanical andor electrical skills as applied to turbines generators compressors pumps motors valves and related equipment and systems.Education RequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalent Must be 18 years old operate mechanical equipment.Physical RequirementsAbility to frequently climb ladders and walkways.Duties require walking standing for extended periods of time crawling stooping sitting climbing vertical and inclined ladders and stairs lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.The frequent use of protective equipment may be required.
