Job Opening

The Department of Conservation and Recreation seeks applicants for the position of Laborer I. Seasonal Laborers perform and assist with a variety of duties in connection with conservation and maintenance work including but not limited to grounds and facility maintenance work including cutting grass raking leaves watering painting rubbish removal beautification of parks campgrounds and reservations beaches and facilities.

Duties

May be expected to use a variety of hand tools. May operate motor vehicles and light trucks including loading and unloading of supplies equipment etc. Greet and assist park visitors and provide information about the facility. Based on assignment collect fees and may be required to possess a current and valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License. Perform other related duties as required.

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to work outside in inclement weather work odd hours with expectations for working overtime opportunities and holidays.
