We are searching for a seasonal maintenance technician that works well with others and is also able to function well on their own to analyze root causes and provide solutions beyond band aid fixes.

Night Shift: 7pm-7am Monday-Friday, Saturdays as needed

Salary and Benefits: We offer a competitive compensation package!

  • Starting pay $19.00-25.00 per hour depending on experience and skills
  • Overtime pay for hours over 40 hours
  • $1.00 per hour night shift premium for eligible hours worked on night shift

 


Position Summary: Seasonal Maintenance Technicians are responsible for the repair, installation, adjustment, and/or maintenance of industrial production and processing machinery while maintaining a strong focus on safety and good manufacturing practices.

Primary Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

  • Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance functions.
  • Repair or maintain the operating condition of production and processing machinery
  • Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear
  • Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to ensure proper operation and to diagnose malfunctions.
  • Clean, lubricate, or adjust parts, equipment, or machinery
  • Record repairs performed, parts used, and time
  • Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
  • Read service guides to find information needed to perform repairs.
  • Inspect and test equipment in order to locate damage or worn parts and diagnose malfunctions.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting (electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics and plumbing) and repairing equipment in a timely manner.
  • Identify opportunities for improvements in quality, cost, or efficiency of automation equipment.
  • Performs various maintenance work and/or repairs in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Operates and maintains equipment and tools for work performed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly lift and/or move a minimum weight of 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work in high, precarious places up to elevations of 50 feet.
  • Have the ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small parts.
