Job Description:
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
This positions primarily consists of picking books and other materials from racks and packing in boxes for orders to ship.
Essential Functions:
- Must be able to pick product from racks
- Package products according to work orders
- Label boxes
- Build displays according to work orders
- Must be able to work safely around moving equipment and conveyors
- Operate various types of equipment, i.e., pallet jack, tape guns, stickering machines, electronic handheld devices, RF scanners, headsets, etc.
- Work in a non-climatically controlled environment throughout the year.
- Must be able to stand/walk on concrete floors for entire shift.
- Must be able to read and comprehend a basic order form and communicate well with others.
Other Responsibilities:
- Perform rework as required
- Must meet or exceed departmental standards for production, quality, and accuracy
- May work in different areas (departments) in operations based on business needs
- Adheres to facility hours to include overtime and weekends
- Other duties as assigned
Starting Salary: 2nd shift = $17.00 per hour
Location: Algoa, McCarty and/or Robinson Road Buildings
- Algoa/East McCarty/Rob Road – Monday-Friday = 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. with OT at end

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have basic data entry skills
