SEASONAL PARKS LABORER CLOSING DATE Open until Filled
PAY RATE 13.80 - 16.55 depending on experience
SCHEDULE Monday - Thursday OR Friday - Sunday
Hours range from 6 am to 4:30 pm. Schedule to be determined at interview.

JOB SUMMARY Performs a variety of duties related to the maintenance of Park Grounds, Sports Fields, Irrigation Systems, Trails, Open space, and Urban Forestry.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
Experience preferred in caring for grounds with a wide range of skills. Including but not limited to:
• General landscaping • Irrigation work
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Ability to communicate. Ability to learn to operate and maintain maintenance equipment such as: • Mowers • Chain saws • Pruning equipment • Hand tools
Ability to develop effective working relationships with supervisor, co-workers, and the public.
Must pass a background and drug test.
Must be 16 years old or older.
Preference will be given to applicants 18 and older with a valid drivers license.
Employment in this position is conditional upon passing a pre-employment background and drug test.
