Thompson Palm Springs Resort is now recruiting for Seasonal Pool Attendant (Part-Time) to join the hotel's Pool team.

Showcasing iconic mid-century modern design, bungalow-inspired accommodations, iconic dining, and vibrant social experiences, the resort has become a sought-after destination for discerning travelers, luxury weddings, milestone celebrations, brand activations, corporate retreats, and high-profile events.

The resort features Lola Rose, a bold Eastern Mediterranean dining experience inspired by the spice markets of Istanbul and the seasonal bounty of California, alongside Bar Issi, an elevated coastal Italian concept that blends relaxed luxury with coastal culinary sophistication. Two expansive pool experiences, immersive mountain views, the HALL Napa Valley Tasting Room, and over 35,000 square feet of dynamic indoor and outdoor event venues provide endless opportunities for unforgettable gatherings.

As a Seasonal Pool Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the pool area, including arranging chairs, towels, and umbrellas and ensure the overall comfort and satisfaction of our guests. This is a great entry-level opportunity if you are looking to get your foot in the door with Thompson Hotels!

This is a nonexempt (hourly) role. The budgeted rate for this role is $18. This is the annual hourly rate for this position that Thompson Palm Springs Resort reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual hourly rates will be based on a number of factors including experience, and education.

Qualifications

Must be over the age of 21
Comfortable with working indoors and outdoors with varying weather conditions
Previous experience working at a luxury hotel/resort is a plus
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
Refined verbal communication skills.
Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand for extended periods
Must possess and maintain a valid Riverside County Food Handler Card in accordance with county requirements.
