Description
Responsible for providing quality customer service while taking admissions fees, providing correct change and ensuring maximum security of the daily revenue.
Essential Duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Regular attendance is required to perform the duties of this position.
- Receive the admission fees from paying customers.
- Secure the revenue and provide correct change.
- Assist management in preparing daily revenue for deposit.
- Receive the public as the first point of contact with the facility, in a professional
and courteous manner.
- Respond to patron inquiries regarding fee structure of the facility and general rules and regulations for usage of the facility.
- Daily communication with management regarding activities at the facility.
- Maintain order, anticipate problems and take necessary steps to prevent or defuse problems in the aquatic facility.
- Participate in all in-service training session as requested.
- Maintain a clean and orderly control and entrance area.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Must be at least 16 years of age by start date.
Previous cashier experience preferred.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Skill in operation of listed equipment.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other agencies, participants, instructors and the general public; ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; ability to give and understand oral instructions.
- Ability to receive correct amount charged, ability to calculate change due customer and ability to balance monies at the end of the work day and prepare deposit.
