SEASONAL Shipping and Receiving Specialist
PART TIME Monday - Friday 1pm - 5pm
Location: Lewisville, TX
Duration: 10/5/26–12/11/26
The Seasonal Shipping & Receiving Specialist, works at our office location in Lewisville, TX supporting our team to ensure Onsite event supplies and equipment inventory is accounted for, packaged, and ready to be shipped on time to support the events scheduled.
How you will make an impact::
- Pack and ship supplies and equipment for onsite events.
- Print and apply shipping labels, packing slips, and any required documentation (e.g., customs forms).
- Stage, organize, and load outbound shipments for carrier pickup (e.g., UPS, FedEx, USPS, freight carriers).
- Plan and prepare ice packs and coolers for daily shipments of discs and A1Cs.
- Process returned shipments from onsite events ensuring damaged supplies are removed and excess usable supplies are added back to inventory.
- Perform and update inventory counts, make necessary inventory adjustments, and maintain up-to-date equipment documentation, as requested.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Communicate shipment tracking information with onsite teams, as needed.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance ensuring clinical equipment is clean and functional; troubleshooting equipment or sending out for repair, as needed.
- Perform general maintenance and upkeep of warehouse and local office space.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company policies and OSHA guidelines.
What you need to be successful::
- Ability to work Monday - Friday: 1pm - 5pm without interruption from 10/5/26 - 12/11/26 (we will be closed 11/26 and 11/27 for Thanksgiving).
- Exhibit strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Strong sense of urgency and motivation to work effectively at a fast pace.
- Ability to meet regular and reliable attendance requirements at the assigned work location for the entire shift with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Self-starter with ability to work with some ambiguity.
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
- Approachable and level-headed in stressful situations, acts with professionalism.
- Comfortable working with technology such as scanners, printers, and computers.
- Open to change and effectively adjusts to new circumstances.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous shipping/receiving or fulfillment experience, a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Exerting 30-60 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20-50 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- Regularly required to speak, listen, stand, squat, walk, and sit for extended periods of time during the shift.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures (climate controlled) and noise levels.
