Join the SIMOS team! We're hiring full-time Warehouse Associates with at least 6 months of recent warehouse experience. This role requires at least 6 months of recent sit-down forklift experience in a warehouse environment.


SHIFT:


+ 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7 AM-3:30 PM ( flexibility for mandatory OT on Saturday AND Sunday)

+ NON-CLIMATE CONTROL WAREHOUSE

Duties:

Forklift Operators / Production Workers are responsible for collectively working together with peers and managers to increase customer satisfaction by accurately and safely receiving materials, as well as unloading, sorting, and palletizing product promptly that meets or exceeds our customers' expectations. Receive materials from suppliers, as well as customer equipment, by properly inspecting material against paperwork received with equipment or material.


+ Put away all materials and/or equipment in their properly designated locations promptly.

+ Communicate positively with fellow workers, supervisors, and customers

+ Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, maintain required certification, perform vehicle safety checks, and report discrepancies to supervisor or their designate

+ Responsible for keeping the facility clean, neat, safe, and operating efficiently

+ Adhere to all established company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

+ Assist in keeping the facility secure

Position Requirements:


+ Sit-down or Similar Forklift experience (1 year + preferred)

+ Walk, stand, bend, twist, reach, etc. throughout the duration of the shift

+ Lift up to 50 pounds

+ Present a neat and professional image at all times

+ Ability to lift parts weighing up to 70 lbs. without powered equipment assistance

+ Visual capacity to clearly recognize, read, and understand standard operating procedures, signs, part number labels, and instructions

+ Ability to see/hear and distinguish sounds and signs that alert, instruct, or notify one of danger, such as warning signs, horns, alarms, speech, and vehicular/pedestrian traffic

+ Ability to coordinate maneuvering of varied bilateral hand and foot controls at a rapid pace

+ Ability to utilize personal protective equipment, which may include gloves, safety harnesses, and safety shoes

+ Flexibility to work in either a hot or cold work environment- non-climate-controlled
