Braker’s Market is looking for a dependable, hardworking, energetic team member to join our team for the fall and holiday season as a Seasonal Store Assistant.

This position is a great fit for a student age 16 or older, especially a homeschooled student or someone with a flexible daytime schedule.

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, willing to work hard, and ready to pitch in wherever needed to help keep the store clean, organized, stocked, and ready for customers.

Schedule & Availability

Primary hours needed:

• Tuesday
• Thursday
• Friday
• Primarily during daytime and lunch hours

Additional availability:

• Some Saturday availability is required
• Additional hours may be available Monday and Wednesday for the right person

Reliable availability on the primary days is important for this seasonal position.

Pay

$16 per hour

Minimum Age

Must be at least 16 years old.

Store Hours

Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Sunday: Closed

About the Position

The Seasonal Store Assistant will help with a variety of hands-on store and seasonal duties. This is an active position for someone who enjoys staying busy and is willing to help wherever needed.

You will help keep both the indoor and outdoor areas of the store clean, organized, stocked, and ready for customers while assisting with seasonal displays and general store operations.

Job Duties

• Keep tables, trash, and store areas clean and organized
• Help with seasonal outdoor items such as mums, pumpkins, and displays
• Wash dishes and assist with general store duties
• Stock and move merchandise
• Help keep indoor areas clean, organized, and ready for customers
• Help keep outdoor areas clean, organized, and ready for customers
• Assist with seasonal setup, displays, and outdoor merchandise
• Move, organize, and maintain seasonal products and displays
• Assist with other hands-on operational duties as needed
• Pitch in wherever needed to help the team during busy periods

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on position. Applicants must:

• Be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds
• Be able to bend, twist, reach, and squat as needed
• Be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
• Be physically active throughout the shift
• Be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
• Be willing to perform hands-on, physical work
• Be able to safely stock, move, organize, and merchandise products
