Positions range from permanent clinical float roles Full time or Part Time to Seasonal 13-week assignments with significantly higher base pay. Responsibilities:

• Provides direct support to surgeons during surgical procedures.
• Positioning and prepping patients prior to surgery ensuring clear visibility for the surgeon by using instruments such as retractors and sponges.
• Controlling bleeding closing surgery sites using sutures or staples and properly dressing wounds.
• Collaborates with doctors and other surgical team members to ensure proper post-operative care of patients.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a certified surgical technician program and a recognized first assistant training program.
• At least one year experience as a surgical tech is required.
• BLS required.
