Our global team of experts and state-of-the-art research facilities enable us to work side-by-side with growers to provide the most regionally relevant and reliable vegetable seeds available.\n \nIf our mission resonates with your passion, we look forward to your application. \n \nJob description\n \nYou will be a great fit if you have experience similar to: \n\n A critical aspect of work is to perform controlled pollinations on thousands of varieties of sweet corn.\n Ensure clean pollinations to avoid contamination of seed.\n Assist breeding program in field maintenance, trial evaluation and harvest.\n Data collection on the growth and development of nurseries.\n Rogue out off-type varieties from the rows and scout for detrimental diseases or pests\n Perform all tasks and behave in a manner compliant with and in support of all safety related company policies and practices\n Maintain a high standard of precision and diligence in creating high-quality seed\n Count and prepare seed for planting\n* To assist the breeder or assistant breeder in any additional tasks required\n \nWhat we expect of you\n \nTo be considered, you will need: \n \n1+ years field/greenhouse operations experience in a research or production setting.\n \nPhysical Demands \n \nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
