Tell us about the unit(s): All PACU's float staff between each other. Main/Surgical Robotics and Ortho..

• Number of Beds Main 27 bays, Surgical Robotics 12 bays (closed until 1 ^st . week of February) Orthopedic Surgery Center 20 bays. 59 bays total, all Pre-Op and PACU combined.
• Number of Staff Approximately 70 total, including Pre-Admit Clinic
• Type of staff: RN's and patient care tech.
  • Day Shift This varies based on the surgery schedule.
  • Night Shift 2 RN's - Ratios are estimated not guaranteed
• Patient Ratios 1 RN to 2 patients, same day surgery patients may have up to 3 at a time. Staffed per ASPAN standards.
• Type of equipment Client Monitors
• EMR - Meditech

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Critical Care experience and/or PACU experience
• PALS/ACLS/BLS/NIHSS

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Stroke Care.

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

• Pre-Op and recover any patient who receives anesthesia.
• High Neuro volume, stroke patients, Interventional radiology, TAVR's, Critical Care overflow, Surgeries include: spine, general, GI, Colorectal, Total Joints, GYN, Robotics cases.
