Seasonal Veterinary Client Service Representative Part-Time (June 1st - September 1st) Thrive Pet Healthcare is one of the first veterinary services offering a comprehensive continuum of care for pets' primary, specialty, and acute needs. At Offshore Animal Hospital you'll feel the warmth and openness of a small clinic, while having the opportunity and support of a united network. Our ideal candidate is passionate about animal care, highly motivated, and pays attention to detail. A part-time position would require working between 16-20 hours a week. Role Responsibilities:
  • Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients. With each hospital function, assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.
  • Maintain a clean, welcoming reception area
  • Provide excellent client service to owners
  • Assist in scheduling appointments and surgeries
  • Assist in maintaining relevant, comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems.
  • Obtain relevant health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts.
  • Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments.
  • Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.
Experience & Skill Requirements:
  • Veterinary experience strongly preferred
  • 1-2 years of client service representative
  • Commitment to working within a team environment
  • Positive, will-do attitude
  • Team player with flexibility
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a busy work setting
  • Professional demeanor and outgoing personality
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, squatting, reach, standing, and walking throughout the day.

Read more about us here. Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience with a starting rate ranging from $18-21/hr. We are open to offering a higher rate for the right candidate who brings demonstrated leadership experience. The final rate will be determined after carefully considering a range of factors, including skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and geographic location.
