Description
Position Summary
The Warehouse Forklift Driver safely operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and lift trucks to move, load, and unload materials throughout the warehouse and production facility. The role also performs order picking, maintains accurate inventory counts, and upholds strict safety and housekeeping standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and lift trucks to transport materials and finished goods
Safely load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers
Perform order picking and ensure inventory accuracy through RF or manual counts
Deliver materials to designated areas within the warehouse or production floor
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
Perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting as needed
Read and interpret work orders, bills of lading, and shipping/receiving documents
Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety protocols
Assist with other warehouse tasks, shipping, or receiving duties as assigned
Education and Experience
Required: Previous experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or lift trucks
Mechanical aptitude for basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
Ability to read and interpret work orders and shipping/receiving paperwork
Proficient basic math skills for inventory tracking and order accuracy
Familiarity with standard shipping and receiving processes
Physical Requirements
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently and perform repetitive physical tasks
Comfortable working at heights when required
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist for extended periods
