Job Description:

Working behind the scenes, a warehouse product selector selects and prepares products for delivery to Wegmans stores, playing a key role in keeping shelves stocked and stores running smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Build and handle pallets to minimize product damage and maximize trailer space
• Perform order audits for accuracy, quality and timeliness
• Inform management of daily quality issues using a variety of communication techniques
• Maintain the integrity of the cold chain on loads that have temperature requirements
• Maintain a clean work environment and ensures that all Wegmans sanitation and food safety guidelines are followed
• Utilize available technology (Vo-Collect, pallet jacks) at full capacity in the selection process
• Maintain a focus on safety, including operating powered industrial trucks and observing safety signage
• Meet engineered labor standards and production selection criteria consistently (CPMH, etc).
• Utilize Kronos and use of problem logs to ensure efficient and accurate compensation
