Role Summary

We are seeking an SEC Reporting Manager to join a high performing accounting and finance team supporting a dynamic, acquisition focused public company. This position will play a key role in SEC reporting, technical accounting, financial reporting, compliance activities, and strategic business initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in public accounting, experience supporting SEC registrants, and the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment with evolving accounting and reporting requirements. This role offers significant exposure to executive leadership, M&A activity, debt transactions, and enterprise wide process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and support quarterly and annual SEC filings including Forms 10 Q and 10 K
• Assist with technical accounting research, analysis, and implementation of accounting standards
• Support acquisition accounting, business combinations, and integration activities
• Participate in debt restructuring and complex transaction accounting projects
• Develop, enhance, and document accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Aggregate, analyze, and organize transactional data for reporting and compliance purposes
• Support internal and external financial reporting requirements and annual compliance activities
• Manage reporting processes and coordinate deliverables to ensure critical deadlines are met

Key Requirements

• CPA required
• 5+ years of public accounting, SEC reporting, technical accounting, or related experience
• Strong audit and assurance background with public company exposure
• Big 4 experience highly preferred
• Experience with SEC filings including Forms 10 K and 10 Q
• Knowledge of ASC 718, ASC 842, ASC 805, and other technical accounting guidance
• Exposure to M&A transactions, business combinations, debt structures, and private equity backed environments
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and project management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Combination of public accounting and industry experience
• Experience supporting publicly traded organizations
• Exposure to acquisition heavy or high growth environments
• Experience developing and documenting accounting policies and procedures
• Ability to manage complex processes and competing deadlines with minimal supervision
• Desire to build a long term career outside of public accounting
