Role Summary

We are seeking an SEC Reporting Manager to join a high performing accounting and finance team supporting a dynamic, acquisition focused public company. This position will play a key role in SEC reporting, technical accounting, financial reporting, compliance activities, and strategic business initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in public accounting, experience supporting SEC registrants, and the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment with evolving accounting and reporting requirements. This role offers significant exposure to executive leadership, M&A activity, debt transactions, and enterprise wide process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and support quarterly and annual SEC filings including Forms 10 Q and 10 K
Assist with technical accounting research, analysis, and implementation of accounting standards
Support acquisition accounting, business combinations, and integration activities
Participate in debt restructuring and complex transaction accounting projects
Develop, enhance, and document accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Aggregate, analyze, and organize transactional data for reporting and compliance purposes
Support internal and external financial reporting requirements and annual compliance activities
Manage reporting processes and coordinate deliverables to ensure critical deadlines are met

Key Requirements

CPA required
5+ years of public accounting, SEC reporting, technical accounting, or related experience
Strong audit and assurance background with public company exposure
Big 4 experience highly preferred
Experience with SEC filings including Forms 10 K and 10 Q
Knowledge of ASC 718, ASC 842, ASC 805, and other technical accounting guidance
Exposure to M&A transactions, business combinations, debt structures, and private equity backed environments
Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and project management skills

Preferred Qualifications

Combination of public accounting and industry experience
Experience supporting publicly traded organizations
Exposure to acquisition heavy or high growth environments
Experience developing and documenting accounting policies and procedures
Ability to manage complex processes and competing deadlines with minimal supervision
Desire to build a long term career outside of public accounting
