Akkodis is seeking a SecDesign Security Architect for a Contract with a client in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing and strengthening enterprise security architectures across applications, platforms, and cloud environments.
Rate Range: $49/Hour to $51/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
SecDesign Security Architect Job Responsibilities include:
Lead and conduct deep security architecture assessments across applications, platforms, and cloud environments.
Identify, assess, and prioritize security risks, delivering clear and actionable remediation recommendations.
Provide guidance on authentication, authorization, data protection, application, network, and cloud security controls.
Collaborate with business units, technology teams, and global stakeholders as a trusted security advisor.
Contribute to security architecture standards, reference models, and governance forums.
Support modernization of SDLC tooling and deployment automation to improve enterprise security posture.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field.
8-10+ years of experience in security architecture, information security, or technology risk roles.
Proven expertise in conducting security architecture assessments across applications, cloud, network, and platform domains.
Strong ability to translate complex security risks into actionable recommendations aligned with industry standards and business objectives.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $51.00 per hour
