Second Operations Technician

                The Second Operations Technician works in a manufacturing facility, and, helps coordinate efficient flow of materials and finished goods in production. The Second Operations Technician is willing to jump and help ensure smooth operations wherever possible. Close coordination with each production department is essential to carry out tasks that ensure efficient use of materials and movement of goods. The expanded list of responsibilities and requirements are listed below.

Job Duties / Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of finishing, tumbling, and manual machines.
• Perform job set up tasks.
• Monitor product quality.
• Communicate status of in-process jobs to managers and co-workers
• Assist in process improvement.
• Expedite jobs through the job process
• Have fine motors skills and good attention to detail
• Be able to work general tools and equipment

Required Education / Skills

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Excellent attendance record
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer use
• Must be highly self-motivated and able to work on own to complete task
• Accurately track time on each job as requested
