Steel Slitter Operator
Location: Butler, IN
Shift:
Second Shift 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Third Shift 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
Pay:
$20.00 to $23.00 per hour depending on position, experience, and work history

We are currently hiring experienced and motivated Steel Slitter Operators to join a leading steel processing company in Butler, Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a clean, professional manufacturing environment with direct hire opportunities available for dependable employees.
Job Responsibilities
Operate steel slitting equipment safely and efficiently
Set up slitting machines according to production specifications
Monitor material quality throughout the production process
Adjust machine settings to maintain proper strip width and quality
Inspect finished material for defects and accuracy
Complete production documentation and quality checks
Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Work closely with team members to meet production goals
Qualifications
Previous slitting machine experience preferred
Manufacturing or steel processing experience is a plus
Ability to read tape measures and production specifications
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment
