TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
215 day contract.
Job Type: ADE Licensed Counselor.
Reports to: Campus Principal or Designee.
Salary based on district Licensed Salary Schedule.
FLSA Status: Exempt
11 days sick leave per year of employment.
3 days personal leave per year of employment.
PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Current Arkansas Department of Education Counselor's teaching license.
Must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of curriculum and subject matter as well
as all other areas of responsibility including law and local policy.

GENERAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to):
including administrative rules and guidelines.
Be available as needed for counseling at all times.
Provide Crisis Counseling when needed.
Be involved in teacher/parent/student conferences as needed.
Aid teachers in becoming aware of individual student academic,
social, or physical needs.

Interpret test results to school administrators, teachers, students, and

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS and/or REQUIREMENTS:
Physical Requirements: Must be physically able to sit, stand for prolonged periods of time, walk, occasionally stoop, lift objects that fall within the scope of job responsibility. Must have the dexterity to perform the duties and responsibilities of the job.
Intelligence: Requires the ability to read and follow a variety of instructions on district, state, and federal websites as well as hard copy.
Language Ability: Requires the ability to read a variety of correspondences. Requires the ability to prepare reports, forms, system documentation, etc. using prescribed formats and conforming to all rules of grammar.
Verbal Aptitude: Requires the ability to record and deliver information, to explain procedures, to give oral and written instructions. Must be able to communicate effectively. Must possess the ability to speak to people with poise, voice control, and confidence. Must be able to deliver effective presentations to both small and large audiences.
