POSITION PURPOSE
The Secondary Marketing Analyst is responsible for assisting the Secondary Marketing Manager in the day-to-day Secondary Marketing job functions. Including but not limited to completing lock and pricing review request queues submitted by operations staff and internal mortgage loan officers. Pricing review task requests vary, and the Secondary Marketing Analyst is expected to carefully review and evaluate each request. The task will include completing the updates in the loan record, re-price loans using a historical pricing tool, updating the lock record, and checking the alerts to ensure loan changes are within guidelines. In addition, the Secondary Marketing Analyst will maintain an understanding of each investor's specific lock policies and have basic product knowledge.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification: • Bachelor (4-year college) degree or 5+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Knowledge: • Possess a solid understanding of the technology used to support secondary marketing
Experience Required: • At least 5 years of related experience
Skills/Abilities: • Must have a solid knowledge of lock desk, pricing, and sales of mortgage loans into the secondary market

MENTAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION
Reasoning Ability: Ability to deal with a variety of variables under only limited standardization. Able to interpret various instructions.
Mathematics Ability: Ability to compute discount, interest, profit, and loss; commission markup and selling price; and ratio, proportion, and percentage. Able to perform very simple algebra.
Language Ability: Ability to read a variety of books, magazines, instruction manuals, atlases, and encyclopedias.
Ability to prepare memos, reports, and essays using proper punctuation, spelling, and grammar.
Ability to communicate distinctly with appropriate pauses and emphasis, correct pronunciation (or sign equivalent), and variation in word order using present, perfect, and future tenses.
