A charter school in Apple Valley, Minnesota is looking for a Secondary Math Teacher to teach students in grades 6 through 12. This is a contract position with a school that integrates fitness, character development and teamwork into the academic experience alongside rigorous mathematics instruction.

What you will be doing:
- Teaching secondary mathematics courses including Intermediate Algebra, Geometry, Advanced Algebra and Statistics
- Planning and delivering instruction aligned with Minnesota Academic Standards
- Differentiating instruction to meet the diverse academic needs of all learners
- Using formative and summative assessments to monitor and adjust instruction
- Incorporating technology and innovative strategies to enhance mathematics learning
- Collaborating with colleagues to analyze student data and strengthen curriculum alignment
- Communicating regularly with students, parents and school staff on academic progress
What you need to bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education or a related field
- Valid Minnesota teaching license in Secondary Mathematics or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Strong knowledge of secondary mathematics curriculum and instructional best practices
- Ability to teach multiple secondary mathematics courses
- Experience differentiating instruction for diverse learners
- Strong classroom management and relationship building skills
