If you are mechanically-inclined (automotive, small engine, or loves to take things apart and put them back together, etc.), can use hand tools (wrench, torque wrench, etc.) and seeking to learn a new trade or hone your existing skills, OptiMIM just may be a fit for you! Our Technicians conduct tooling set-ups, including tool installation, and machine preparation to support the injection molding process. Activities include troubleshooting and resolution of production problems and monitors product quality and process productivity. Duties include:Troubleshooting and repairing equipment (including replacing cutting tools, adjusting machine settings and supporting automation) as needed. (40%)Performing equipment setups as directed. (15%)Supporting the maintenance systems and perform activities as needed. (15%)Working with maintenance and process engineering to troubleshoot and repair system failures. (10%)Collecting and entering data as needed to support procedures and engineering tests. (5%)Assisting & training employees on using technical equipment (Automation, CNC and other machines). (5%)Other duties as required.
