    POSITIONS AVAILABLE FOR THE 2026-27 SCHOOL YEAR

    Full-time secondary school special education center-based ASD teaching positions are available for the WAVE program: Working Academically in a Visual Environment

    This federal setting III program provides a structured educational environment for students who benefit from a predictable and individualized setting. WAVE students are typically more successful in smaller settings with a high staff-to-student ratio. WAVE provides a predictable, yet flexible learning environment designed to support students as they develop as whole individuals. WAVE students often have needs related to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD); however, they may have additional disabilities such as Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD)/Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Learning Disabilities (LD), other neurological disorders, or mental health diagnoses (such as anxiety or depression).

    Applicants must hold appropriate MN special education teaching license.
