Position Details

You are invited to apply for the position of Secondary Special Education Teacher at Laker Schools in

Education department is a strong, collaborative team dedicated to helping every student succeed. As

facilities project that added modern classrooms, updated technology, and new learning spaces,

including our Innovation Center for skilled trades and Legacy Center fieldhouse. Laker Schools is a

POSITION: Secondary Special Education Teacher

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Hold a valid State of Michigan Teaching Certificate with a Special Education endorsement,

2. Demonstrate the ability to analyze data, write IEP goals, and communicate effectively with

families and staff.

3. Flexible, collaborative, and committed to continuous professional growth and learning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Deliver specialized, evidence-based instruction and accommodations.

2. Monitor, record, and communicate progress toward educational goals.

3. Collaborated with teachers to align specialized supports with core curriculum standards.
