PGS Worldwide is seeking a Secret-Cleared Analog Design Engineer in Tucson, Arizona for a one-year onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This position will provide electrical engineering design support for printed circuit card assemblies involving analog electronics, power electronics, and motor-control applications.
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
5+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
Experience in one or more of the following areas:
Analog electronics
Power electronics
Motor-control electronics
Experience analyzing and simulating electronic circuits.
Experience documenting technical analyses and simulation results.
Experience with schematic capture.
Experience using electronic circuit simulation tools.
Ability to support circuit-card development through analysis, simulation, schematic development, and test.
Active U.S. Government Secret clearance required to start.
U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Skills
Experience with SaberRD modeling tools.
Experience with Siemens Xpedition schematic-capture tools.
PCB design experience sufficient to provide guidance on component placement and routing.
Perform circuit analysis for analog, power, and/or motor-control electronics.
Develop and run electronic circuit simulations.
Perform schematic capture and maintain engineering documentation.
Support design and development of printed circuit card assemblies.
Test circuit cards and evaluate functional performance.
Document analyses, simulation results, schematics, and test findings.
Identify and communicate technical risks.
Support on-time completion of assigned engineering tasks and deliverables.
Collaborate with electrical, hardware, and related engineering teams throughout the design process.
Work Schedule / Shift
Full-time onsite in Tucson, Arizona.
1st Shift.
All hours are billed at the standard rate; no premium overtime rate applies.
Pay
$86.44 per hour.
