Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Secret Cleared Communications Network Engineer Senior to join one of our large federal clients in Philadelphia, PA. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Evaluate communication hardware and software, as well as troubleshoot Local Area Networks/Base Area Networks/Wide Area Networks (LAN/BAN/WAN), and other network related problems. Administer LAN/BAN/WANs. Schedule conversions and cutovers. Coordinate with all responsible users and sites. Specialized experience in the performance and configuration of networks as well as the integration and testing of complex large-scale computer integrated networks. Must possess an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) network support certification such as a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).

Compensation:

$40.87/hr to $48.16/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, MIS or related field

Active DoD Security Clearance

Active CCNA Certification (certified cisco network administrator)

4+ years of experience as a Network Engineer specific too:

o Plan and build network systems (LAN, WAN, VPN, cloud networks).

o Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

o Monitor network performance and uptime.

o Troubleshoot connectivity issues and outages.

o Apply patches and updates to network hardware/software. null
