Secretary I | Justice Court Clerk

Location: Humble, TX 77388
Pay:$15.01 per hour | Weekly Pay
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 30-Minute Lunch
Employment Type: Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire

Openwork is seeking an organized and dependable Justice Court Clerk for a full-time opportunity in Houston, TX. We're looking for someone with strong clerical, computer, and customer service skills who can accurately support daily court operations.

• Maintain court dockets, records, and files
• Prepare correspondence and other court documents
• Coordinate court appearances
• Administer oaths as required
• Perform accurate data entry
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls
• Prepare certified copies and reports
• Maintain organized and accurate documentation
• Assist with general clerical and court-related duties as needed

• 1+ year of computer and clerical experience required
• 1+ year of paralegal, legal, court, or judicial system experience strongly preferred
• Strong Microsoft Office skills required, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong computer and data-entry skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organization
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable assisting callers and the public in a professional manner
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
• Dependable attendance and professional demeanor
