Job Summary:
The Reception/Attendance Secretary serves as a welcoming face and steady support while managing student attendance records and accurate daily attendance tracking. This secretary serves as one of the first points of contact for students, staff, families, and visitors. The secretary plays a vital role in fostering a culture of trust, respect, and care within the school community while maintaining a welcoming organized environment.
Building administration determines the receptionist/attendance secretary start and end dates each school year, a tentative schedule is provided. On days when school has been cancelled, secretaries do not report to work. These days will be made up and could affect the tentative end date.
Hours: 8 per day (202 days per year) (August 4th 2026 tentative start date)
Pay: $14.46 per hour
Reports to: Building Administration
