ABM is seeking an experienced and dependable Janitorial Cleaner to perform routine and specialized cleaning services at a secure data center facility. This position requires an active Top Secret (TS) clearance and the ability to work independently with minimal day‑to‑day supervision.

The Cleaner will support a 24/7 operational environment and will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across office areas, restrooms, corridor spaces, pantry kitchens, and common areas. While this role officially reports to off‑site management, the individual will work closely with the off‑site Lead Cleaner and respond to occasional requests from the client team onsite.

Work Schedule:

  • Full‑time, Monday-Friday
  • 8‑hour shift scheduled between 7:00 AM and 2:30 PM

Pay Range:

  • $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

  • Active Top Secret (TS)/(SCI)Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance (polygraph required for this role)

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in janitorial, custodial, facilities, or cleaning roles
  • Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards
  • Experience working in secure, government, or mission‑critical facilities
  • Military, veteran, or cleared contractor background
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, floor scrubbing, and spot cleaning
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms daily; check and replenish paper goods and supplies twice per shift
  • Clean and maintain pantry kitchens on both floors of the facility daily
  • Clean office spaces and common areas, including weekly vacuuming of office surfaces (or more frequently as needed)
  • Clean windows, mirrors, corridors, and glass surfaces
  • Properly handle waste, recycling, and disposal in accordance with company and site protocols
  • Maintain, organize, and properly store cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Identify and report safety concerns, maintenance issues, or supply shortages
  • Support periodic deep‑cleaning projects, including carpet cleaning and floor strip/wax (typically 1-2 times per year, with possible overtime)
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and secure‑site protocols at all times
  • Work collaboratively with the on‑site Lead Cleaner and respond professionally to occasional client requests

Reporting Structure:

  • Officially reports to off‑site ABM management
  • Day‑to‑day coordination and guidance provided by the Lead Cleaner (off- site)
  • No direct on‑site supervisor; role requires high level of independence and accountability
