Securities Operations Associate

A leading financial services organization is seeking a Securities Operations Associate to join a high-performing investment operations team supporting wealth management and separately managed account (SMA) services.

What You'll Do

• Process and support a variety of securities and investment-related operational activities.
• Review and reconcile transactions while ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
• Support investment account servicing activities, including time-sensitive requests and documentation.
• Research and resolve operational inquiries and exceptions.
• Collaborate with internal business partners to ensure timely execution of client and account-related requests.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and operational projects.
• Provide guidance and training to team members as needed.
• Maintain compliance with corporate governance, risk, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a high-volume environment.

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Securities Operations, Investment Operations, Trust Operations, Wealth Management Operations, or a related financial services environment.
• Experience supporting investment accounts, portfolio administration, trade processing, reconciliations, or account servicing activities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to navigate multiple systems and applications simultaneously.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Investment industry experience.
• Exposure to trust accounting, portfolio accounting, or separately managed accounts (SMA).
• Experience working within wealth management, trust services, private banking, or institutional investment environments.
• Familiarity with investment policy documentation and account maintenance processes.
