Job Title: Security Administration Analyst – IAM
Location: Jersey City, NJ (On-site)
Employment Type: Contract (W2 through ZipStaff — No C2C or 1099)
About the Opportunity:
ZipStaff is seeking a Security Administration Analyst for access management at a financial services organization. You will execute provisioning, resolve access issues, and hold least-privilege standards with application owners and security coordinators. This is a hands-on IAM operations seat — not a security-architecture role and not a help-desk-only job.
What You’ll Do:
- Process user access and provisioning requests across systems and applications to SLA, with least privilege.
- Support onboarding, transfers, and terminations, including the business purpose and risk of the access.
- Handle standard and complex provisioning.
- Investigate and resolve access incidents through ISM channels (hotline, service queues).
- Validate requests with Security Coordinators and application / data owners.
- Keep knowledge-base articles and control documentation current.
- Support global coverage, including periodic shift changes, on-call rotation, and alternate schedules.
- Look for workflow and automation improvements (scripting or IAM tools) and analyze recurring volume drivers.
- Escalate access and data-protection risks in a timely way.
Required Qualifications:
- 3–5 years in Information Security, Identity & Access Management, or related security administration.
- Hands-on Active Directory, ServiceNow, RBAC, and an IAM platform such as SailPoint (or equivalent).
- Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, VBA).
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet SLAs.
- Ability to work on-site in Jersey City, NJ, including on-call and shift flexibility.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Scripting for automation (PowerShell, Python, SQL, or Java).
- Financial services or another regulated environment.
- ITIL.
- Security+ or CISSP.
