We are seeking a Safety Aide to support a safe and secure community through observation, reporting, and resident‑focused service.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide general safety and security through observation, monitoring, and reporting to promote a safe and secure environment across the community.
- Perform gatekeeper duties by screening and directing residents, guests, vendors, contractors, and visitors as needed.
- Conduct periodic patrols of common and public areas, on foot or by vehicle, and check security functions during rounds.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, fire alarm systems, and emergency call systems, responding to alarms and escalating issues appropriately.
- Assist during resident or employee emergencies, provide staff escorts during non‑regular business hours, maintain accurate logs and reports, and perform other duties as assigned.
Pay: $15.38 - $18.58 / hr DOE
Schedule:
Sunday: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Monday: 11:15 PM – 7:45 AM (overnight)
Tuesday: 11:15 PM – 7:45 AM (overnight)
Friday: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Saturday: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
About You:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in building or grounds security, or a related field.
- Knowledge of alarm and communication systems and ability to communicate with Police and Fire departments.
- Ability to complete forms accurately and maintain detailed logs and reports.
- Formal training or experience in self‑defense methods.
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification upon hire or within 90 days of hire.
