Security Analyst

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Security Analyst (Junior-Mid Level) in Jacksonville, FL.

Overview: This role supports day-to-day cybersecurity operations for a large organization and its parent company, with a focus on security alert investigation, malware remediation, and compliance support. The analyst will work closely with leadership while maintaining a high level of autonomy and ownership over assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate and respond to security alerts generated by the parent company, including malware identification and remediation
• Follow explicit guidance and documented procedures provided by the parent company to complete security-related tasks accurately
• Assist with cybersecurity compliance efforts, including CMMC compliance (experience here is a strong plus)
• Support enclave environments for federal work, including managing access controls for teams operating on military bases
• Maintain and update security dashboards, support security protocol updates, and assist with task delegation as needed
• Communicate clearly and professionally during high-stress situations, remaining calm and composed when working with end users
• Partner closely with leadership while operating independently on assigned responsibilities
