Transforming the Future of Enterprise Planning
At o9, our mission is to be the Most Value-Creating Platform for enterprises by transforming decision-making through our AI-first approach. By integrating siloed planning capabilities and capturing millions—even billions—in value leakage, we help businesses plan smarter and faster.
This not only enhances operational efficiency but also reduces waste, leading to better outcomes for both businesses and the planet. Global leaders like Google, PepsiCo, Walmart, T-Mobile, AB InBev, and Starbucks trust o9 to optimize their supply chains.
Security Architect
As o9 expands its global security operations, we are seeking a Security Architect to serve as a high-visibility technical authority and Security Forward Deployed Engineer. Designed for a senior security leader in the US with 10+ years of hands-on experience, this role bridges enterprise-scale SecOps evolution with strategic client advisory.
Your primary mission is to leverage o9's established platform infrastructure and advance our SecOps capability from Level 3 (Managed/Automated) to Level 5 (Fully Autonomous, AI-Managed SecOps function). You will evaluate and integrate the latest AI for Cyber and Cyber for AI toolsets onto our existing architecture, proposing modern solutions that automate threat detection, incident response, and agentic governance. Simultaneously, you will serve as the primary security voice for o9's enterprise clients in the region, presenting BitSight scorecard metrics, explaining security controls, and addressing complex security inquiries.
Our platform ingests 22 billion events per month across 176,000+ hosts, 266 Kubernetes clusters, and 3,042 cloud accounts. You will bring the AI vision and technical solutioning required to transform the protection of this global footprint into a self-healing, autonomous security operation.
What you’ll do for us…
Autonomous SecOps Evolution ("AI for Cyber" & "Cyber for AI")

- AI for Cyber Solutioning: Evaluate, propose, and integrate modern AI/ML tools, autonomous security agents, and LLM-powered enrichment onto our established telemetry pipelines to automate threat hunting, incident triage, and forensic analysis.
- Cyber for AI Safeguards: Identify risk vectors and propose security solutions to protect o9’s GenAI platforms, RAG pipelines, and autonomous AI agent workflows from prompt injection, model poisoning, and data leakage within our current architecture.
- Solution Integration on Existing Stack: Identify top-tier modern security tools and propose practical integration patterns that enhance our existing 22B monthly event telemetry pipeline without unnecessary re-architecting.
Forward-Deployed Customer Advisory & Engagement
- Client Security Authority: Serve as the primary Security Forward Deployed Engineer for enterprise client leadership, managing customer security expectations and answering high-level technical inquiries.
- Control & Scorecard Presentation: Translate complex security controls, threat models, AI safety measures, and BitSight scorecard data into strategic briefings for customer CISOs and risk teams.
- Audit & Defense: Lead the technical defense of o9's platform security posture during major enterprise client reviews, compliance audits (ISO 27001, SOC 2), and security evaluations.
SecOps Pipeline Optimization & Technical Leadership
- Telemetry & SOAR Enhancement: Enhance existing cross-platform correlation logic and automated SOAR playbooks using modern AI tools to drive false-positive rates down while accelerating response velocity across EDR, WAF/ZTNA, PAM, and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Detection Frameworks: Maintain and refine threat detection frameworks mapped to MITRE ATT&CK and MITRE ATLAS.
- Cross-Functional Guidance: Guide security engineers and platform teams on incorporating AI-driven automation and modern SecOps tooling into their daily operations.
