Security Assistant Sr Spec - N4

Standard Job Description

Performs routine duties in an industrial security office to obtain security clearance on employees, control employee identification cards and records, maintain lock and key records, and arrange visit authorizations for employees and others to gain access to restricted areas. May interview employees to verify accuracy of data and complete personnel security questionnaires and related documents, verifies proper level of access to be granted individuals, and contacts other companies or government agencies to follow up clearance or visit authorization requests.

Basic Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance (Interim Secret required to start).

• High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized training in specific aspects of job functions and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks.

• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II baseline certification (CCNA-Security, CySA+ , GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP).

• Knowledgeable of Windows and Linux operating system security requirements.

Desired Skills

• Experience with National Security Information system related security requirements (e.g. JAFAN, DCID, JSIG, ICD 503, RMF, DIACAP or NISPOM) to include technical computer/network system auditing.
• Risk Management Framework experience.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge using Microsoft office products and Adobe PDF tools.
• Experience with DoD/DCSA data transfer procedures.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $51300.00 - $95300.00
